Values are expressed in millions of local currency units, using the local currency prevailing in the price reference period (1999-2001), with the exception of countries in the Euro-zone where the Euro has been selected.
This domain compiles value of production at constant (1999-2001) prices in local currencies by multiplying gross production in physical terms by a set of reference 3-year average prices. Intermediate uses within the agricultural sector (seed and feed) have not been subtracted from production data; therefore this value of production aggregate refers to the notion of “gross production”. Livestock value of production is measured in terms of indigenous meat.
